• Why did you choose to work for MAN?                                       

  It seemed like a great opportunity for me.

• Describe what it’s like to work here in three words.   

  Interesting, fun and competitive.

• What do you get up to in a typical week?

  No week is ever the same, but I am often answering queries, processing changes, starters, leavers, salary changes, balancing pension contributions, and liaising with the HMRC.

• What’s been your proudest moment at work?    

  When I pay people correctly (hopefully every month).

• What makes someone successful here?         

  Their willingness to succeed and their positivity.

• How have you and your career developed since you joined us?  

  I am always developing as my knowledge gets more varied. I have taken on extra responsibilities as my role changed when our new manager joined the company.

• What’s the best thing about working for MAN?   

  The people I work with.

• What’s been your proudest moment outside of work?

  The birth of my son 11 years ago.

• If you could invite 3 people to a dinner party, who would they be?       

  It would have to be four people. Both my grandads who died when I was four and both my parents so they could see their dads again after losing them so long ago.

• Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us. 

  I wanted to be an astronaut when I was younger, failing that, an archaeologist.

• What’s your favourite film?        

  There are so many, but I have an extra soft spot for Signs and the Green Mile.

• What’s your signature dish?            

  Greek potatoes. It’s not so much a meal, as an accompaniment.
