Why did you choose to work for MAN?
I had worked for the importer for Neoplan and wanted to work for the manufacturer.
Describe what it’s like to work here in three words.
Proud, exiting and fun.
What do you get up to in a typical week?
Supporting the Sales team, planning strategies looking for new ways to enhance the product and the brand to customers, lots of planning and visiting customers to support the product and services.
What’s been your proudest moment at work?
Every day I’m proud to be with MAN but if it’s one thing, making it onto the MAN management board from starting out many years ago as a Mechanic.
What makes someone successful here?
Everyone will have a different view on this but for me it making a difference. For example, helping a customer that’s having an issue and finding a solution for them or finding the right product for their business.
How have you and your career developed since you joined us?
I started off 14 years ago as a regional engineer for MAN fixing coaches and buses and now I’m the General Manager for bus and coach, as well as being on the management board.
What’s the best thing about working for MAN?
MAN is the best employer I’ve ever worked for, they really look after their staff.

What’s been your proudest moment outside of work?
Becoming a dad.

Stan Lee, Jenson Button and Ayrton Senna.
Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us.
I used to race a Jaguar XJS.

The Shawshank Redemption.

Chicken tikka masala.
