Meet Kate - Sales Executive

  • Why did you choose to work for MAN?

    I wanted to take the opportunity to work directly for an international, corporate company and progress further in my career.

  • Describe what it’s like to work here in three words.

    Motivating, supportive and challenging.

  • What do you get up to in a typical week?

    My weeks can vary but the majority of my time is spent out visiting customers. Other day to day activity includes keeping our CRM system up to date, delivering demonstrators into customers, putting quotations together and prospecting for new business.

  • What’s been your proudest moment at work?

    Selling to a conquest customer who has never dealt with MAN before and getting positive feedback about both the service I have provided and the product itself.

  • What makes someone successful here?

    Ambition and hard work. Providing you are willing to put the work in, you will get any support you need from the company to be successful.

  • How have you and your career developed since you joined us?

    My confidence has improved, due to the support from my manager and the team around me, to not be afraid to get out to new customers and ask for their business.

  • What’s the best thing about working for MAN?

    I have a great team around me and we all support each other. MAN is developing as a brand and constantly looking at ways to improve how we do things and how to stand out from the competition. It is an exciting time to be working for MAN as there are a lot of things happening in the near future, such as a new product line which will help boost our presence in the commercial vehicle market.
