Why did you choose to work for MAN?
I was attracted to MAN as it is a German owned company and I have lived in Germany in the past. It also has a reputation as a good place to work.

Describe what it’s like to work here in three words.
No dull moments

What do you get up to in a typical week?
Whatever I’m asked to do by management, colleagues and the dealers! Most of it is related to parts pricing!

What’s been your proudest moment at work?
Being told by Tim Osborne this year that the UK is the top-performing parts department in Europe.

What makes someone successful here?
A positive, can-do attitude.

How have you and your career developed since you joined us?
I started in Euroservice in 2000 and moved to the Parts Department 5 years later. The job titles have remained the same but the way they are carried out is constantly evolving!

What’s the best thing about working for MAN?
The people here – everyone from the cleaners to the MD.

What’s been your proudest moment outside of work?
Completing my first London marathon in 2007 when I raised around £2k for Samaritans (with the help of my manager, David Power).

If you could invite 3 people to a dinner party, who would they be?
Stephen Fry, Sir Ian Botham and Taylor Swift.

Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us.
I have a second Dan black belt in Shotokan karate – achieved after a 26 year break from training!
