• Why did you choose to work for MAN?

  I was brought up around transport so I knew about the brand from a very young age. My dad had a MAN truck which encouraged me to start an apprenticeship 15 years ago.

• Describe what it’s like to work here in three words.

  Professional, rewarding and enjoyable.

• What do you get up to in a typical week?

  I am responsible for the work being undertaken within the workshop and to ensure all jobs are fully completed to a high standard before returning the trucks to the customer.

• What’s been your proudest moment at work?

  Passing the master technician qualification.

• What makes someone successful here?

  You have to be dedicated and passionate.

• How have you and your career developed since you joined us?

  I started as an apprentice 15 years ago at 16 years old, I worked my way up to a master technician and a shift team leader.

• What’s the best thing about working for MAN?

  The people.

  The birth of my daughter.

  Lewis Hamilton, Richard Branson and Colin Turkington.

  American Sniper.

  I wouldn’t know where to start on how to cook!
